Slider Scale Interaction Not Working?

I feel like I am SO close to getting this slider to behave how I want, but I can’t seem to get the scale effect to stick!

Here’s a video - it works initially, but then disappears once you click to the next slide

Ha - fixed it! The content needs to be wrapped in a div. Apparently I just need to ask for help in order to figure it out all on my own
