Slider disabling nav links on mobile

Help… Weird issue / bug if any can help me troubleshoot.

I have a group of sliders creating a fast paced animated gif effect, its working great on desktop but on mobile its stops some of my links from working, the burger menu and some dropdown accordions further down the page (all nav type items thinking about it).

I have deleted elements one by one and narrowed down to the ‘sliders’ in ‘section fixed’, maybe using the slider element is not the right way to achieve this?

Any thoughts from the community would be much appreciated.

Updated: switched the images in the slider to background images and all is working
