I have some items I could move over to my assets page which isn’t crawled by Google. Noticed I apparently got lazy and just hid the elements. We are almost ready to launch. Just wondered if Google is able to see and crawl hidden elements as some will be considered duplicate content by the Google Master Bots. Thanks for the help
Content that is set to display:none is present in the source code is visible to bots. Google bots crawl the page much like a real user and should discount code/content that is set that way unless the content is being revealed to the user via animations / scripts. Since the code is loaded by the browser it ads weight to the page. So it is always best to remove content from the page if it is not being used.
