Scroll affecting a different element

Hello,

Thanks in advance.

How can you implement the “scroll affecting a different element,” similar to Ex. #2 of https://interactions.webflow.com/ ?

Do you include the image of the purple monkey (for example) in the footer? A video of this would be really helpful (I saw a similar post asking this, but they just linked to https://interactions.webflow.com/ which doesn’t provide a video of Ex. 2).

The “footer flyout” should appear on top of pre-existing sections, but does not need to extend the full width of the website, similar to the purple monkey in example 2.

Here’s the link to my view-only website, if it helps: https://preview.webflow.com/preview/mighty-rachel?preview=780df9df647d7847006b5216853fe75e2

Thank you.

Best,

Rachel

You just apply a scroll interaction and check the box that says affect another element. Put in the style for that element and then create the interaction. You can see this in the screenshot next to example 2.
