Return key not working within a text area

When inputting text to a form text area the return key doesn’t work. This is an issue as I am looking for users to enter information as dashed (-) bullet points.

I assume that the default for text areas is that the return key functionality is disabled?

Does anyone know how I can enable it in order to allow users to return and start a new line within a text area?

Hello.
If you want to have line breaks, please add a text area, not a text field to your form.

I am already using a text area but the return key still does not work within the text area on the published site.

Ah, there is SHIFT and ENTER, but this won’t work on a text area.
A BUG?
