Responsive side-nav issues

I’m working on the side above and was wondering if there’s a way to keep the distance between the side-nav and the right-side of the website the same as in the 1440px breakpoint in larger breakpoints?

Your navbar has fixed position, therefore it sticks to browser window. In order to achieve what you’ve described, you have to create layout with two columns and margin between them.
