Ability to use "index" as a slug for subfolders/pages on site

In reference to this post http://forum.webflow.com/t/solved-folder-with-index-file-save-time-editing-the-html/27124 Create a page with the slug as “INDEX”… which would create an INDEX.HTML page within a folder. This is a feature we once had. It was taken away around February 2016. I’ve asked for this feature to reinstated several times. This directly impacted my client and myself as the feature was removed from Webflow in the middle of developing a client product.

Why can I NOT create a slug with the name INDEX I want to create an index.html file in a folder. I was able to do before… even though it display an Invalid Slug Message. Now - I cannot save it. Because of this - I have to change the photo structure of 11 websites. WHY IS THIS SLUG RESERVED.

but you cannot name a page INDEX… which means you cannot have a default page in the folder. No index.html allowed. So… if you have a portfolio page… you cannot have mydomain.com/portfolio (which defaults to mydomain.com/portfolio/index.htmll) you have to use something like mydomain.com/portfolio.html (no folder) or mydomain.com/portfolio/view.html This was a bug introduced around Jan / Feb 2016. Prior to this… you could create an index page / slug.

Create Subdomain/Multiple Pages

Hello I need help creating a subdomain/multiple pages for a domain. For example: we currently have a landing page www.beepyo.com, however we’d like to create a separate landing page as a promo (www.beepyo.com/promo) is this possible? please advise.

Is there something I am missing? I can’t make an index.html in a sub folder.
