Play video on hover (Lightbox)

Hello all,

I’m trying to create thumbnail videos(mp4, or link) that will play on hover and stop when it is out of thumbnail. I would like to place it on the lightbox so that when users click the video, they have full control of the contents.

I followed the examples that I could find on the internet but nothing worked for me so far. Does anyone figure out or know the solutions?

Hi!

If the usual methods haven’t worked, you might need to use custom code. At least, that’s what I would do. You can integrate custom JavaScript for hover effects and a lightbox for full video control on click.
Webflow’s native lightbox component can be handy, but ensure it’s configured for video content.
