I really appreciate that Webflow keeps evolving and releasing new features. I’d like to ask if there are any plans to add a native feature for international phone number input in forms.
At the moment, setting this up takes quite a bit of time - even when using the intl-tel-input library, developers still have to manually adjust the styling with CSS. This feels inconvenient, especially considering how commonly international phone number masks are used.
Most users don’t handle this setup themselves because it’s too complicated. At the same time, many clients and specialists point out that other platforms include this functionality natively and allow enabling it with just a couple of clicks.
Hi there @FlowKeeper, I noticed you have a suggestion for Webflow. I just wanted to let you know that Webflow keeps a wishlist where you can check for similar feedback or submit new ideas. While they may not always respond as quickly as we’d like, the wishlist is the best place to share your thoughts directly with their team.
If your idea isn’t on there yet, I’d encourage you to add it!
Sharing your feedback helps Webflow understand what features are important to users like you. Even if it takes some time, adding your voice to the wishlist helps get your idea on their radar. Hopefully by working together we can help make Webflow even better. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hi Valdis, I released that recently for the community as a code component, you can get it here for free, and it installs directly from Sygnal Marketplace.
Thanks for catching that. I will reach out to the team regarding this.
The cloneable should work without that line of code as well. I read a documentation stating that Webflow loads 3.5.1 version by default and tested the cloneable without importing jQuery and it works with the default version too.
Once again, I realized in practice, while solving a new task, how inconvenient this is - constant custom setup for validation and input masks. And so many specialists have to do this on a regular basis. Hopefully, Webflow will take this into consideration and provide a built-in solution to automate it.
