Multiple mega menus with interaction

Hey guys,

does anyone have an idea how the mega menus were built on webflow.com? I see multiple dropdowns but I don’t understand how they included the overlay since it is not native with the dropdown.

I tried something similar but the interactions don’t work like on their page.

Update:
The solution is to use the trigger “Dropdown Opens” or “Dropdown Closes” on the dropdown element. You can leave the trigger element completely untouched. Since the default action of the dropdown is either open/close on hover or on click.
