Multi currency in Ecommerce (shall we plug in shopify)

Does anyone know if its possible to offer multi currency pricing in our ecommerce store. We currently want to branch out to the US and the UK. At the moment we are Australia based and all of our prices are in AUD. We have set up the store to ship to the US and UK but are struggling to flip the currency to suit each country. We also want to offer different shipping rates per country. We have considered using a shopify widget but not until we are sure this is achievable.

Any advice is much appreciated. Cheers

Hi @James_Sutton.
What you’re after is possible with Foxy + Webflow. Multi-currency, multi-language, per country shipping rates, and more. You can even manage your products entirely in Webflow. More info about our seamless integration with Webflow can be found here: Webflow | Foxy.io

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need help getting started. We’re happy to help.

Thanks,
Josh

Hi there! So far, there is no native solution yet.

If you want to have multiple currency, and offer different shipping rates per country, it is better you run multiple sites serving different domains. In this way, you can have the best flexibility to control differences on products, prices, shipping costs etc. while offering visitors information with local language&currency.

To increase customer conversion rate and prevent visitors getting lost among multi-sites setting, you can auto direct visitors to correct URLs based on their location. If a visitor is in UK, and he goes to exampleshop.com, it will direct him to exampleshop.co.uk, showing currency in GBP.

Geo Redirect tool can help you achieve geo redirecting seamlessly. It’s easy to set up redirecting rules within a few steps. No code is necessary. The service will generate code for you to add to your website. Webflow platform is perfectly supported.

Hope it helps!

Michael,

I am also looking to add multi currency to my ecommerce store. The only problem is that when you have multiple sites it get really pricey per month (e.g. for two sites using the Ecommerce Plus hosting plan altogether it’s $148 USD per month) which can definitely get pricey just to run two ecommerce websites. Do you know a workaround to this?
