Menu button scrolling off page when menu panel is open

Howdy Webflow community,

I’m having trouble with my close menu button. When the menu is open, I’d like it to be fixed so the user can close out of the menu even if scrolled down. As you scroll down the page, the menu sticks but the close button scrolls off the page. I’ll post a loom video of what I’m referring to below as well as the read-only link for my project. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this has been driving me nuts for weeks. I can’t figure it out!

Alternatively, I’d be fine with locking the page scroll when the menu is open but I haven’t found any code snippets that work.
