Map location based on scroll

Hi all, been trying to make something like this - London with Collard on Trippin

I’m not sure if its possible, but i gave up on using the map object within webflow, instead ive opted to just use an image of the map. I think i’ve done well to get this far, just wanted some more expert opinion on why its really clunky and how to expand on it.
