I have link blocks that are not showing on the live site (or preview). I don’t have them hidden… I can’t for the life of me figure out what the issue is?

Background images don’t actually affect the size of elements, so even though you see them in the Designer they actually aren’t taking up any space on the canvas. Dotted lines around an element means it’s size is being “faked” so that you can work with it in the Designer—however if you choose the “Hide Empty Elements” icon along the lower-left of the window you’ll see they actually disappear from view:
To fix the issue, you can either use Image elements within the Link Block, or you can set a height/width style
