Lightbox shows preview image, but not image uploaded

Hi.

Thought it was because I failed something, but the “hand” symbol does not appear anymore on none of my website buttons.

Also, the lightbox widget works fine on mobile, but seems buggy on desktop.

Can you please tell me what is wrong ? Or what is going on ?

Thank you by advance for your help.

Hi @Blaise_Posmyouck, thanks for the report, could you be a bit more descriptive on the issue with the lightbox, how is not not workijng as you expect on desktop compared to mobile?

Is this all happening on the home page?

I checked and the hand cursor is working for me at least on the published site.

Hi Blaise

Are you on a mac?

I have the same problem, but not just with Webflow sites. A lot of the time the hand never appear. I have a feeling its a macOS problem.

For my own sites I go down and change the Cursor from Auto to Pointer on links. (if I remember)

Hello @cyberdave and @krubens

Thank you very much for your help.

@cyberdave Seems that it works fine for the buttons hover now. Concerning the lightbox, I can’t see the image when I click on the lightbox on desktop, but I can see it on mobile.

@krubens Yes, I’m using a mac, sad issue…

Thank you again guys.

Take care.

Also, I can’t figure out how to fix the active color of my navlinks elements which is blue right now, and it’s not what I want ^^:

Any idea of to fix this for a one-page nav ?

Thank you again for your help.

Take care.

You just change the color of the text. See in the clas area, it sais CURRENT.

That mean that that link is linking to the page you are currently on. So if you then do any changes to that link those changes will only happen when you are on that page.

Thank you for your help, @krubens

The thing is I can not see the “current” state when I select the current navlink…:frowning:

Everything is in this new title.

I tried everything, delete and try with a new lightbox, change the image, change settings, etc. Still does not work.

The issue is happening in this site : http://sarlsapi.webflow.io

Here :

When I hit the lightbox button on mobile, it works fine, but only a black screen on desktop.

I definitely need some support for this, as being able to see the image in this lightbox is very important for this site.

Thank you by advance.

Best

Hi @Blaise_Posmyouck, thanks for getting back with more details, it looks like the button as been removed from the published site, could you please republish the site with the lightbox so that I may check the link and lightbox on desktop?

Also, it looks like the read-only link is no longer valid, could you repost a new read-only link? Share a read-only link | Webflow University

Thanks in advance!

Hi @cyberdave and thank you again for your help.

I’ve reposted the lightbox button @sarlsapi you can find the share link here : https://preview.webflow.com/preview/sarlsapi?preview=124e16cf9918b108c24a770a387057ea

Thank you again.

Hello @cyberdave

Any help on this ?

Thank you again,

Take care.

Hi @Blaise_Posmyouck, thanks for hanging in there. A bug has been identified and work is ongoing to get a fix shipped for this.

The problem is in the image upload directly through the lightbox to the asset manager. The preview shows, but the image is not actually linked to the lightbox.

In the meantime, can you try to delete the image from the asset manager that you had uploaded directly to the lightbox widget media, and then repeat the image upload process, but drag the image directly into the asset manager instead of uploading it through the lightbox Upload image button.

After adding the image to the asset manager, then go into Lightbox settings in the add media section and select the lightbox media from the asset manager, instead of uploading it directly.

As soon as there is a fix to this behavior, I will let you know here on this post.

Let me know if the workaround above helps.

Thank you for your help @cyberdave but this workaround did not work for me :frowning:

Sad because it’s really an emergency for my customers, but I guess I will have to wait for a fix, hope it will not take too much time :S

Thank you again for your time.

Best.

Hi,

Sorry to disturb you again with this annoying issue, but is there any embed code or something I can use for the lightbox while waiting for a fix ?

Thank you by advance,

Best.
