Issue with tab linking from another page

Hi Webflow community,

I’m having an issue trying to open up a particular tab-pane, linked from a button on another page.

I’m not great with coding and found a way to do it via link-button URL. I’m doing something wrong and was hoping I could reach out for some help.

Please note, my tab classes have a second class for the URL work-around

To see where I’m at, by clicking the burger-icon, you will open up the full page navigation bar, you will see construction: I have applied the URL link to ‘all jobs’ and ‘groundwork & demolition’ for an example.

I have used the following URL link;
/construction/all?tab=tab-link_groundwork-demoltion

Posting for future readers.

I found another solution in the forums here and consolidated the code into a quick tutorial. You don’t have to make any edits to the code or tabs and it’s super flexible.
