I created an xtml sitemap but not sure how to add it to my site?

If you are creating a custom sitemap.xml to replace the auto-generated one, you can provide your content under your site settings / SEO tab.

I would love to use an auto generated one but I don’t have that option. But I need I don’t have a site plan.

There is no place to add content

Yes you need hosting to be setup for certain hosting-related features like SEO.
Once you’ve done that, you can use either auto-gen or custom sitemaps.

Thanks I just added the sitemap to the root directory then uploaded it to the netlify
