How to show author name and post date in blog post?

I need to show author name and post date in blog post ? How to do this? I don’t have the experience with webflow. So please explain step by step.

Hi Alexbob, share you readonly designer link if you need specifics.

In general, you’d probably have two CMS collections;

  1. Author
    1. Contains name, bio info, etc.
  2. Blog
    1. Contains title, post info, image, etc.
    2. Also contains a date field YOU create called e.g. Date Published. Don’t use the internal fields for this.
    3. And a single-ref to Author

Then in your Blog collection page or Blog-bound collection list, you’d just create and bind elements to those fields and choose the formatting options you want for date.

I added author name in blogs template. When we visit the blog page showing author name. but no links in that name. How to add author name with link. also I added BY text. How make that in same line like… By Author. Now by is in top and author name is bottom.

I added autor name and published date in colum. but there is more gap in each column. I need like this

Access to generate a readonly designer link?
If you have access to build the site, you have access to do that.

Webflow’s a very flexible design platform, and you’re asking the community to help you, while blindfolded- the whole reason readonly links exist is to make community support possible.

In a situation like this, make a clone of the site, delete identifying information and then share. Also, you don’t need to share publicly, you can choose to just DM the read-only project with an individual. Consultants like @memetican and myself have had businesses for many years and understand confidentiality. On paid relationships I offer confidentiality agreements. I am sure you could inquire about that with Michael.
