How to make the navigation change colour

Hi everyone! I really need some help with a certain feature. I am trying to make the navigation change its colour depending on the block (black on white / white on image) using scroll into view animations but I can’t get it right. Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong? Thank you in advance!
