How to make the Bottom To Top button functional

Hey All,

How do I set the Bottom to Top button in the footer to move (scroll) the page back up to the top?

When the user touches this button, I’d like the page to scroll back to the top on mobile. Do I have to set this on every page or is the setting universal?

“Hello,
Webflow itself has already prepared what you want to execute for us in advance.
What you need to do is to go to the settings of the section you want to navigate to by clicking a button, scroll up, and give it an ID.
Then, go to the settings of your link in the footer, select ‘section’ as the type, choose the ID of the section you provided, and easily design your desired button there.”

The button stylings won’t stay.

I have created an ID section and published, the directions you gave were accurate.

Why do the stylings get dropped?

We dealt with this issue in a client project and wrote a script that creates a button that will scroll you to the top of the page.

Here is a link to the tutorial video that walks you through the question, and then the solution from start to finish.
