This question might have an obvious answer. If that’s the case, I blame it on a brain fart. Is there a way to disable interactions for mobile devices?

Unfortunately, you can’t disable interactions for particular screen type. As a workaround I can suggest duplicate element, that has interaction. Then original object make visible only on desktop/mobile screen and copied object only on mobile.
