How can I change the <input> tag of the standard form submit button to the <button> tag?

I need to do this so that the form code generated by the Pinegrow Theme Converter program does not send the value of the “value” attribute of the form button <input type="submit" value="Send data"> to the database. Detailed information about my problem can be found on the Pinegrow forum.
