Hover Interaction Not resetting state

Plz help

I have a few buttons on the left side of the home page, when hovered on the background image changes – if you quickly move from one button to another the hover state does not update correctly… it will keep the home page background image AND overlay the button image instead of hiding the home page backgroud button and only showing the buttons image.

Is there anyway to fix this?
