Hover effect to affect another element

Is is possible to use the hover effect to not only change the color of the navigation selection, but also the color of the background below it? (or anywhere else?)

(Note I want to simultaneously change the color of the navigation button as well as the background color below it, as soon as the hover is over the navigation button).

You can do this using interactions. Apply an interaction to the link and click the checkbox to “affect another element” and then target the element you want to change. You are limited to what you can change though so likely you’ll have to use it to show/hide another element in the color you want by setting it in absolute position right on top of the other element.
