Horizontal Scroll Transition (Background change)

Hello evereyone,

i hope someone can help me with my issue.

I have created a cms based horizontal scroll on the following site:

Because i want to put in different images and videos as a background i need a “smooth transition”.

In vertical scrolling i have something like this backgorund color change:

Is there any way to do such a transition as well on horizontal scrolling? It should only show one “item”, then the next one appears when scrolling on.
