Hiding Collection Item after certain date

Hello
I’m trying to hide collection list items after their specified dates
and only show items before their dates
I thought this would work with adding a filter but the options are only from today instead of set date, see screenshot

I’m trying to implement this on the events page

Have you taken a look into this? Might be a workaround when Nelson is filtering dynamic content.
