Help with Pagination of collection items

Hello,

I have created a new collection list on my website and have paginated the items (so that only three show at a time). Attached is a screenshot.

The problem I have is that when someone clicks ‘next >’ or ‘< previous’ underneath the items, it reloads the page and sends the user back to the top of the page each time.

Is there a way to stop it from loading each time? Or an alternative way to create this feature where it doesn’t need to? (Having a slide across animation would be great too!)
