I would be willing to pay money if someone could set something like this up. I would like to have a front page have a snowflake falling effect, but in such a manner that it reacts to the mouse movement. Falling slightly towards the angle of the mouse. I was wondering if this is doable with using webflow.
Hi Monic,
Yes, that’s definitely doable!
I can use Webflow for the site and GSAP for animations to create an interactive snowflake effect that responds to the mouse.
For more advanced effects like 3D motion or physics-based interactions, Three.js can be added.
The snowflakes can fall naturally and react subtly to cursor movement, and the setup will be fully responsive across devices.
I can also make a quick demo or outline how it’ll work before starting.
Best regards,
Vladyslav
Yep, doable in Webflow but you’ll need custom code , GSAP is the easiest way to handle the snowflake animation and tie it to mouse movement. Had to set up something similar with drifting particles on a client site and it worked smoothly once GSAP was added via an embed.
Can you share code or a demo?
Hi,
The mouse reactive falling animation is totally doable and would create a really engaging visual element.
This sounds like a nice interactive experience for your front page visitors.
Happy to discuss your project requirements and provide a quote for the work.
