135 MB home pages won’t ever be performant. Using the Webflow video component with multiple videos is the reason. It uses Embedly which gives you no control. YouTube itself uses lightboxes and so should you if you want to avoid custom code.
There are plenty of design pattern approaches to this I could use and code which would not cause performance issues.
