Has anyone successfully embedded a Facebook Messenger button on your site?

We plan to use Messenger as a key communication channel with our customers, so I’m looking for pros/cons from people that have already embedded a “Message Us on Facebook” button on their site (or a customer’s site).

Did the “replace XYZ in the URL with your username” work?

Thanks for knocking some common sense into me. I was over thinking this and just used option A with a button on my home page. Appreciate you.
