Grid bug is hindering workflow

I’m using the grid and it’s really messed up. There’s quite a few problems happening.

1. The layout in edit view isn’t the same as live view.
2. When I added new slides to the slider in the edit view it made the whole grid box larger and larger with each added slide. But when I switched to live view it wasn’t bigger at all… looked normal.
3. Mobile view is not working right and isn’t updating correctly. I’ve removed one of the rows to make it a single row and the row that I deleted is still there but disappears when I switch to live view. Then once I do fix it again in edit view and everything looks fine… live view is not right…???

Hi, @cmfranklin.

I was able to reach out to our engineers, and they noted that they are looking to prioritize a fix for this issue.

As you may have noticed, this issue should only occur within the Designer. If you switch to preview, you can see how everything works correctly.

This issue is because we apply a fake 75px to empty columns in the designer so that they’re easier to manage.

If you “Hide Empty Elements” you’ll also see it work correctly in the designer.

Though I do not yet have a timeline on when the fix will be available, we’ll definitely let you know as soon as possible.

After enabling “Hide Empty Elements” - would you be able to let me know if the issue persists?
