Google Analytics Not Tracking Form Submission

Hello,

I have a client who would like to track on GA when a form submission has gone through and the user has seen the thank you notification. Not sure if this is a bug or not. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

I Know that you can create a goal in GA. Set the thank You page as A goal and after A time period you can check your goal Completions.
