Global canonical tag issues

Hello there!

My website has uniques URL’s that are also similar, for example:

www.comunidadfeliz.cl
comunidadfeliz.cl

ComunidadFeliz - La mejor forma de Administrar Edificios

And so,

So it creates duplicated content because when we publish a new article in our blog, it publishes on every URL.

So we decided to add a global cannonical tag for “www.comunidadfeliz.cl”

But when we did it, the Semrush Audit Tool showed us more mistakes than before.

So we took off the global cannonical tag, but now we’re still having the same duplicated content problem.

What are the side-efects of adding the global cannonical tag? How can I control them?
