I’ve got an API Key and have entered it in my project, but I can’t seem to find any place in the Google Developer Console where I can register the property location to generate the map. Huh?

The Google Map API Key is stored inside the Project Dashboard… not in the Designer.
From your Dashboard
Select the SETTINGS option for the Project you are working on
Select the Integrations option
Locate the Google Maps Javascript API Key input box
Enter your API Key
Select the Save Changes Button
