Flexbox Issue, text will not center on background video

Hi there!

I am designing my first site and ran into an issue with flexbox.

I have a background video playing when you first open the site and text on top. I am able to have the text centered in reference to one another, but not to the actual background video container.

I’ve tried making the background video as a flexbox but that makes the videos shrink and not be full length as it is now which I love.

I want the text to be in the middle of the background video without having to use margins because I know that will make it wonky trying to design for other screens.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Can you share a preview of your work ? I think you should try using positioning. Put your video full width on position absolute with a minus z-index.
