Flex container expand for children - where is inline-flex webflow?

Edit: adding do not shrink or grow to the child was the trick without custom CSS. oops

I wanted to create a horizontal scroll card that auto expands for the content such as unknown numbers of Collection items. It looks like Webflow is missing Display: inline-flex which seems like the way to go. Is there another method I should consider?

The example file includes an embed that applies a custom inline-flex to the flex container.
