Fixed Nav Bar dissapearing too fat

Hi Everyone,

I’d like to ask for your help for 2 issues:

  1. When I scroll down and then up the Home page, when going up the fixed nav bar dissapears too quickly, almost instantly. How can I change the speed of Fixed Nav Bar dissapearing so that NAV Bar can appear smoothly?

  2. How can I add an anchor to one of the sections on the page?

The website I am working on is https://preview.webflow.com/preview/jacks-sublime-project-e34be9?preview=c5850b50b71f67663c94eb40bf53385f

Thanks a lot!

@jacksaben1704 Hello, Jack! I believe that the desired effect can be produced by giving your Fixed Navbar a z-index of 2000+. The reason the up-scroll effect was fast was because it was drawing itself behind the non-scrolling navbar. I hope this helps, Happy designing!

Hi Ethan, that is wonderful. Thank you very much for your help.
If you do not mind me asking - do you know if i can add an anchor to a section on page?
Many thanks
Jack

Glad it helped. You can check out how to add anchors at Webflow University. If you need more specific help, just let me know.

Hi Ethan, I followed the steps in the link but still couldn’t do what I wanted to.

I have created several product pages using the same fixed nav bar and nav bar. What I am trying to achieve is this.

I want to go to the Bean Puff section on the Home page when I click on the Bean Puff menu on the fixed nav bar and nar bar of the product pages. I have already named it beanpuff on the section.

I tried doing the following: I copied ad pasted my webpage (http://jacks-sublime-project-e34be9.webflow.io/#beanpuff and the link did not work.

Thank you once again for all your help…
