Favicon not showing in google?

I have uploaded a favicon image in site settings and it shows when I am on the website. However, why does the favicon not show in google results? What can I do so that it does show in Google search results?

How long ago did you update the favicon? It can take google multiple days to index the change.

I will just add that you can also check size of your icon as it must be multiples of 48
eg. (48, 96, …)
