Editor not matching preview - positioning elements

Hi everyone. I’m very new to Webflow and I’m trying to get my head around some of the behaviours I’m noticing. In this case, I’m trying to get three elements to sit alongside each other in my footer, but the changes I make in the editor look super wonky when I preview or publish the site. I’ve included these photos to illustrate what I mean.

I’m sure my work is a mess and that the solution is very simple, so I would appreciate someone showing me what I’m missing. Thanks!

Update: I’ve managed to get the images to align relative to each other, but the preview still doesn’t match the editor view. The content in the footer appears centred in the editor, but in the preview they’re right down at the bottom.
