Ecommerce checkout error

Customers are getting errors at the checkout when they try and pay. The error reads “There was an error processing your customer info. Please try again, or contact us if you continue to have problems.”

This was a perfectly functioning store and then the error started showing up. I can’t figure out why it has stopped working
