I’ve seen this text masking effect on a ton of Awwwards websites, but I can’t seem to find out what they’re using or a tutorial explaining how to achieve this effect. It looks like GSAP but I’m not sure. Anyone have an idea?
I know you can do this in Webflow using overflow hidden divs for each span line, but that seems redundant. I looked in their code and it seems like they’re just animating all text like that that fall in a certain DIV.
