Hi! I’m trying to add comment count with Disqus but I’m not able to get it to work. All threads I’ve found on the forum hasn’t got any answers. Anyone got comment count to work and could help me? 
Has anyone got Disqus comment count to work on their site? I got it to work on my blog posts, but only for the first post in the CMS list.
- Add script before closing body tag
<script id="dsq-count-scr" src="//SHORTNAME.disqus.com/count.js" async></script>
- Add the link where-ever in the page you want and Change SHORTNAME
<a href="URL OF THE PAGE#disqus_thread"># COMMENTS</a>
COMMENTS will change automatically to number of comments.
You can use it on product detail page as well as in product list page.

Yes, past script before closing the body tag.
Actually discussion editor not let be add the syntax of closing body tag, sorry for that…
It displays the number of comments for pages with Disqus embedded.
Change the shortname variable from EXAMPLE to whatever the shortname is of the forum you’re using. Your shortname can also be found on your forum’s Admin > Settings > General page.
Hi @superbwebdeveloper thanks for helping here. I hope you will be able to help me as well. I think everything is set up and working on comment pages. I also set up comment count correctly but counts are not showing up. would you please help out with what I am missing here?
