Previously we’ve used static PDF brand guidelines for clients, and while digital services like Frontify or Brandbook exist, they’re built for enterprise rather than SMEs and get expensive quick -so I decided to create our own version that we can offer to clients at a lower fee & I love the fact that I can style the entire guide in our client’s brand and will be able to update it whenever needed as the brand continues to develop.
The template uses F’in sweet CMS library to add filters for the ‘logo finder’ page and a search for the Knowledge Bank page. The main disadvantage with using Webflow for DAM though is that it doesn’t support EPS or ZIP files, so I still need to make use of an external storage like Google Drive or Cloundinary to host those files.
