It would be great if one could delete classes from elements directly in the styles section without having to select every element seperately in the page design!

There are no new updates for this yet, however the fact you have asked about this, is a good reminder that this feature would be handy, and I am glad this discussion is open again.
Hang in there, every wish list item is reviewed (just not implemented at the same time)
