Delay Dropdown close trigger (close timer)

Hello,

Is there a way to delay a dropdown’s “close” trigger?
Adding a close delay, delays the close animation but still closes the dropdown.

In the “Products” dropdown, the menu closes on hover-out (which is expected and desired).

However, it’s easy to accidentally hover-out when trying to get to the items further down the list (to the right).

I’d like to add a delay (close-timer) so that the dropdown only closes when the mouse hovers-out for a certain duration.

Can this be done in the editor?

Hello! I love your website. You’re really talented! I don’t know of a way to do what you’re asking, but I wanted to share that I think a delay would actually make it harder for visitors when they intend to hover out of the products menu. Personally, I think it’s great how it is!
