I want to create a custom widget which can be embedded on third party websites. The widget would be quite straight forward such as asking a few questions and generating a score. The third party websites would just include the script tag (similar to embedding a twitter artefact) and the widget would be included into their webpage.
I would not consider this a good fit for Webflow hosting. There are caps on page views that could easily be exceeded. You would also have to check the TOS.
Duda has a really cool widget builder, where you build your own widgets. You can connect them to Duda UI elements to add content and design options/settings when you drag them into a website. Then, when you update the widget, it’ll update across all websites its been added to.
I’ve been trying to find out if Webflow has something similar but I’m not having any luck. I assume that “symbols”-element groupings, are the closest thing it currently has?
