Is there a way to connect CMS items to a specific user?
For example, if you have a CMS collection of photos, and each photo is connected to a user, is there a way to display all the photos connected to a certain user when they are logged in?

Hi Jesse, no not natively at this time.
There are workarounds but they involve a good deal of development and setup to get them working and even then theyāre fragile and full of limitations.
Most importantly, until the feature is natively built in Webflow, you wouldnāt be able to do this securely. Logged-in User X would be able to see Logged-in User Yās data if they had a mind to look for it.
Hi @Jesse_Reichenstein welcome to the forum!
Yes, there is!
But not natively with Webflow. Youāll have to glue it together yourself. Itās not too difficult.
The hard part is that the Webflow CMS and Webflow Memberships (Iām assuming this is what you are talking about when you mention user accounts) are 2 separate āthingsā in Webflow with no association to one another.
But, who cares you can make it work anyways.
ā¦and when Webflow does allow you to associate them together, you can swap out the manual linking for their native solution
In the mean time, youāll need to use Make (Integromat) or Zapier as your glue service to snap it all together.
Someone on the forum asked this recently and here is the answer I gave them, along with some details about how to set it up.
Hope that helps!
