I’ve got some answers from a few people who was able to take look. A deeper look into this will be made once everybody is back their desks.
Anyway, I will not go into all the technical’s they shared rather share with you a quick solution for your project. Depending om how much you’ve done the latest days to the project this solution is either easy or difficult for you.
Go to backups and restore your site from a earlier date than the 25th. They’ve confirmed that the latest working version is the backup taken on SEPTEMBER 24TH 2019, 10:40:40 AM.
Hi @jlenker, I have been doing some checking on the client collection, there is one multi-reference field that seems to break, it is the “Industry(ies)” field.
I am not 100% certain, but in a test, I was able to restore proper publish when the field name was changed from “Industry(ies)” to “Industries” with no parenthesis in the field name.
That is strange for sure and I am helping to check this further, but could you please rename the collection field, then republish to see if that helps get things published as normal ? See the field I refer here:
Wow, Dave. That fixed it. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I would NEVER have known to do that and I would appreciate if you’d post an update once you know more. Any ideas on the other project’s two collection pages:
I checked the two other pages, those do not appear to exist on the site, or the page name was changed, can you confirm the urls again? I cannot seem to find these pages in the designer under the utility folder.
Okay, so here’s what seems to be happening on the treestory project.
The collection list says that the URL for the collection pages should be /services/service-page. But the URL being generated is /homeowner/service-page. The page there the collection item thumbnail is being clicked on is withthin an audience folder, such as “homeowner,” as is the case here, but the collection itself should simply be /services/service-page. So the system is generating this:
@jlenker - You have a a static path on homeowner/trim to a static page. That renders as developed. Your CMS slug path is /services and a CMS item of /trim so https://treestory.webflow.io/services/trim is exactly what you have set it up to do.
HI Everyone. It turns out that some custom code that we put in place to manage our audience structure was breaking the links. We were able to resolve this. Thanks everyone for the help!
