I am working with the Webflow CMS and I have a problem with the animation of the CMS items. I have a list of 7 CMS items, these items are in the collection list and each item is 100% so the collection div is fully filled. The first CMS item is set to 700% from the start using the ‘First Item’ state. Within each item there is an image and a link block that points to an external page, the link block has 100% width and height and covers the entire CMS item. Now I have built an animation so that when I click on a CMS item (which then has Interactions Affect: Interaction Trigger) all items adjust to 100% and this goes up to 700% with the Interaction Trigger.
However, there is a problem with the link block as this is in the CMS element with 100% width and height and when the element is clicked, the animation does not play but is redirected.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this? Unfortunately you can’t control every single CMS element. Are there functions with custom javascript code, or perhaps a completely different approach?
