I’m looking for a solution please. I have an image that I would like on a slant with a stroke and solid shadow. I know I could do it in photoshop and upload it but I would like the images to be live so the client can change them without me. I can use a clipping path not a problem but the box shadow does not work and even adding the style code in a HTML embed doesn’t work. I’ve tried every work around I can think of. Does anyone have any suggestions or a solution, please. Thanks in advance.
Drop shadows are perfect for creating shadows on rotated images since they follow the element’s contours, unlike box shadows. Here’s how to apply them:
Select your image element
Open the Style panel
Navigate to Effects > Filters
Click the “+” icon
Choose “Drop shadow” from the Filter dropdown
Adjust these settings to your preference:
X offset: Controls horizontal shadow position
Y offset: Controls vertical shadow position
Blur: Adjusts shadow softness
Color: Sets shadow color and opacity
This method works particularly well for images with transparent backgrounds or complex shapes, as the shadow will maintain its natural appearance even when the image is rotated.
